Terms of Service

You must provide accurate account information and keep your password secure. You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy a subscription. The service is not offered to minors. You must also meet the eligibility requirements in Creem's buyer terms.

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorized access, automate access in a way that imposes an unreasonable load, or use Flashbao unlawfully. We may restrict or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users, investigate misuse, or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

A 14-day free trial begins when Flashbao first loads a study queue. No payment method is required for the trial. Progress remains available after a trial or subscription ends, but further study requires an active subscription.

Flashbao is an online and offline-capable learning tool. Features may evolve, and temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will not materially reduce an already-paid service without a valid reason and any remedy required by consumer law.

Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. Before purchase, Flashbao and the Creem checkout show the plan, billing frequency and price; Creem shows the final total and applicable taxes before you place the order. Creem sends the payment confirmation and invoice.

You can stop renewal and update payment details from Settings by opening the Creem customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues through the paid period unless a statutory withdrawal or refund ends access sooner. Account deletion first attempts to cancel any active renewal.

If you are an EU consumer, you generally have 14 days after an online purchase to withdraw, subject to exceptions permitted by law and any express request or acknowledgement collected at checkout. This statutory withdrawal is different from cancelling future subscription renewal.

To exercise a statutory withdrawal right, follow the withdrawal process in the Creem Buyer Terms. For other refund requests or purchase complaints, first email support@flashbao.com. If we cannot resolve the issue, you can contact Creem through its customer portal. Creem handles refunds for transactions it processes as the seller. This does not limit any statutory right or remedy.

Except where law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable, and cancellation does not create a prorated refund or credit for unused time. We will work with Creem to correct duplicate or incorrect charges and charges made after a cancellation took effect. If paid access is materially unavailable and cannot be restored within a reasonable time, contact us for an appropriate remedy. Other refund requests may be considered case by case.

Flashbao and its original software, interface and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service while you have access. Third-party dictionary and course material remains subject to the licences and notices on the data sources and credits page.

Except where a displayed third-party licence or mandatory law expressly permits it, you may not scrape, crawl, systematically extract, reconstruct, download in bulk, republish, sell, sublicense or redistribute all or a substantial part of Flashbao's catalogue, course lists or other collections. You also may not repeatedly extract smaller parts in order to recreate or distribute a collection. Ordinary personal study, normal browser caching and export of your own account and study data are permitted.

These terms do not reduce any reuse rights granted directly by a displayed open licence, and they do not grant rights in third-party source material beyond the applicable source licence or law.

You may delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes active account and study data as described in the privacy policy. Some de-linked billing records may remain where needed for reconciliation, fraud prevention, disputes or legal obligations. Ending an account does not remove rights or obligations that arose before termination.

Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded. If the digital service does not conform to the contract, EU consumers may have statutory remedies including having the service brought into conformity, a price reduction, or termination where applicable.

These terms make no separate choice of governing law. Mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules continue to apply. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint, without affecting your right to use a court, regulator or other available dispute-resolution process.

Updated terms apply prospectively from the version date shown above. If a material change affects an ongoing paid subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice unless an immediate change is required for law or security. You may cancel renewal if you do not want to continue after a change.
